Georgia Governor Brian Kemp announced 38 appointments to the Judicial Nominating Commission on Dec. 13, one of which is BBGA Attorney Drew Hill. Governor Kemp first appointed Drew to the JNC in 2019, so this is his third appointment.

The Judicial Nominating Commission reviews applications and makes recommendations to the Governor to fill vacancies in state, superior, and appellate courts in Georgia.

Drew is a shareholder at Blasingame, Burch, Garrard & Ashley, P.C in Athens. His practice focuses on representing injured parties in many different types of personal injury cases. He is a “Double Dawg” having received both his bachelor’s degree and J.D. from the University of Georgia.

Drew has been recognized annually by the Best Lawyers in America, as well as the Top Lawyers in Georgia. He is a fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers and has been selected for many years for inclusion in the Super Lawyers list.

He has received the highest peer rating possible, an AV Rating by Martindale-Hubbell, based on his commitment to high legal and ethical standards. Additionally, he is a Fellow in the Lawyers Foundation of Georgia and is past president of the Western Circuit Bar Association.
